Newsflash March 14th



- March 14th - 
Our AGM was well attended and ended a very successful year for the club. We continue to grow, have a healthy bank balance and have plans for many more events and activities for the coming year.
We will be producing another calendar, Greeting and Christmas cards. Our exhibition will be in June and Xmas fare in November. There will also be talks on Artists and classes on acrylics, water colour, Silk painting, Pastels.
Mal Hall is our new Chair, May Townend (treasurer) Tom Wyles (secretary) and Polly Brinklow our representative on the Village Hall committee.

- (Feb 12th) - AGM will now be held on 7th March in the Village Hall

- (29th Jan) - We have confirmation that we can use the Cricket Pavilion on Thu 7th Feb from 7pm. Please spread the word!

- (Jan 12th) -  2012 was another smashing year and ended on a high with a great Christmas party see below.




2013 has started well. Thanks to all who came on Thursday. It's good to be back.
 The 'beginners class' has 9 participants and all said they enjoyed it. We have 3 new members.

We need your ideas/suggestions for future meetings.

                                        - Sunday Dec 2nd (2-5pm) - Christmas Fair in the Village Square. We have a table to promote the club and sell some calendars and anything else you can bring.

THANK YOU to everyone who came to our Art & Craft fair on Nov 11th. We had a wonderful day and, thanks to your support, managed to raise almost £200 for our club funds and a further £200 for the Village Hall roof fund appeal.
 - well done, a great team effort.
